Drywall patches
Holes from doorknobs, wall anchors and old TV mounts. Cracks along seams and corners. I cut a clean patch, tape it, mud and sand it flat, so after paint you won't find the spot.
Patches are what I do best.
Holes in drywall, old caulking, a door that sticks, a shelf to hang. The kind of job a contractor won't come out for. I will.
I work full time in firestopping on construction sites. This is my evenings and weekends, and I'm just starting to look for my own clients, so my prices are low. I tell you the price before I start.
Evenings and weekends, anywhere in Saskatoon.

Tubs, showers, sinks, countertops, windows, baseboards. I scrape out old or mouldy caulk, clean and dry the joint, and lay one even bead.
This is my full-time trade. On construction sites I seal gaps around pipes and cables so fire and smoke can't pass through walls and floors.
In a house, it matters most in the wall between the garage and the home, and between a basement suite and the main floor.
To be clear about scope: here I only take small jobs like that — a single wall, a few penetrations. I'm not bidding on commercial or large-scale work; that's my employer's business, not mine to take.
Shelves, mirrors, curtain rods, TV brackets, door handles, doors that stick.
Not sure if it's my kind of job? Ask. If I can't do it well, I'll say so.
I'm not a mechanic, but I have a professional OBD scanner. I can come out, scan your car's computer for the exact fault codes behind a dashboard warning light, and clear them.
It's a proper scanner, not the cheap kind — it reads detail a basic code reader won't show, so you'll know exactly what's going on before deciding what to do about it.
I'm just starting out with side work, so my prices are low for now.
Send me a photo, and I'll give you a price for the whole job before I start. If something unexpected comes up, I'll ask you before doing more.
If you're going through a hard time, tell me. I can do a small repair for free or for the cost of materials.
I'm Illia. I'm from Ukraine and live in Saskatoon. My full-time job is firestopping on commercial construction sites — that is my trade and where my income comes from.
This page is me looking for side work for my evenings and weekends. I'm at the very start of it and don't have regular clients yet, which is also why my prices are low.
I speak English, Ukrainian and Russian.
